I am rather amazed that I have been able to get a basic website up and running in 24 hours! It is far from the website that I need but it is a start and if there is one thing I have learned, starting something is often the hardest part!
For some reason, the photographs that I tried to upload looked nothing like the 'real' thing so that will need more work - I have a lot of that ahead of me on a number of fronts!
I enjoyed a successful first exhibition during the Salisbury Arts Trail this year, getting some really positive feedback and selling far more than I expected (but less than I had hoped, no pleasing me!) It took a real leap of faith to commit to it but it has given me the confidence to pursue my creative exploits more seriously as it would be heaven to be able to spend more time doing the things I enjoy most.
At present, many of my photographs are still on display at Hugh Davies' offices in Brown Street in Salisbury. I plan to move them to an 'arty' cafe owned by a friend in Blandford in March as I could do with selling them to get more money for more glass!
I have also booked the exhibition space at Waterstones for November 2010 so that's an excellent goal for me to work towards!
